Dr. Ahmed H. Sadek

President and Medical Director

Dr. Ahmed H. Sadek is the founder of the Neurodiagnostic Technology Institute. Dr. Sadek is a recognized authority and author in the field of epilepsy management. In addition to his leadership at the institute he serves as the Director of the Orlando Epilepsy Center. A dedicated educator he is Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Central Florida’s School of Medicine and is also the Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Florida Health, Shands Hospital.

Tanya Maier, MBA, R. EEG T.

Director of Administration

Tanya Maier is the Director of Administration. Prior to joining the Institute, Tanya spent thirteen years educating franchisees for one of the world’s largest hotel companies. She played a key role in making education more accessible by developing and delivering industry-changing online training. Her vision of how to best use technology to teach is a driving force within the Institute.

Rhonda Jacobs, R. EEG T.

Director of Academics, Instructor

Rhonda Jacobs, R. EEG. T. and Director of Academics, has over 13 years of clinical experience in neurodiagnostic technology.  She has worked with patients of all ages and many different conditions. Rhonda is passionate about the fields of Neurodiagnostic Technology and education. Her goal is to assist students on their journey towards earning a rewarding career as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist and Registered EEG Technologists (R. EEG T.).

Heidi Browning, R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNCT, CNIM

Instructor

Heidi Browning is an instructor with over 32 years of experience in the Neurodiagnostic technology field. She is credentialed in EEG, evoked potentials, intraoperative monitoring, nerve conduction studies. She has experience with patients in all age groups and a variety of situations. She is the Co-author of “Waveform Window, New Sleep Scoring” an American Journal of Neurodiagnostic Technology.

Sheri Hager, R. EEG T.

Instructor

Sheri Hager is an instructor with over 20 years of experience in the field of Neurophysiology. She has experience with patients in all age groups in a wide variety of clinical settings. Her favorite clinical setting was the time she spent as a technologist at a Pediatric Neurology Level 1 Trauma Center. Sheri is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience to help shape the future of Neurodiagnostic Technologists.

Christopher Kotara, R. EEG T.

Instructor

With over six years of clinical experience, Christopher Kotara is a dedicated instructor at Neurodiagnostic Technical Institute, where he brings a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience in the field of neurodiagnostic technology. As an experienced healthcare professional, he currently holds the position of EEG Technologist II at a prominent Orlando hospital. Christopher plays a vital role in the pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit, contributing to its neurology and neurosurgery program. Christopher’s commitment to patient care and his passion for neurodiagnostic technology are evident in his work, and he takes great pride in inspiring students to excel in this critical field of healthcare. He actively fosters a supportive online learning environment at Neurodiagnostic Technical Institute, contributing to the education and development of future neurodiagnostic professionals.
