Dr. Ahmed Sadek, M.D.
Founder and Administrator

Dr. Ahmed Sadek is the founder of the Neurodiagnostic Technology Institute. Dr. Sadek is a recognized authority and author in the field of epilepsy management. In addition to his leadership at the institute he serves as the Director of the Orlando Epilepsy Center, and the Director of the Clinical Neurodiagnostic Department at Orlando Health.

A dedicated educator he is Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Central Florida’s School of Medicine and is also the Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Florida Health, Shands Hospital.

Tanya Maier, MBA
Administrator

Tanya Maier is the Director of Administration. Prior to joining the Institute, Tanya spent thirteen years educating franchisees for one of the world’s largest hotel companies. She played a key role in making education more accessible by developing and delivering industry-changing online training. Her vision of how to best use technology to teach is a driving force within the Institute.

Suanne Maier, R. EEG T., R. NCS.T.
Administrator and Instructor

Suanne Maier is the Director of Academics. With over 14 years of clinical experience in EEG and Evoked Potentials, and clinical training her contributions to the Institute are invaluable. Suanne is outcome-focused. Her passion lies in teaching others how to obtain the best and most accurate neurodiagnostic recordings to aid physicians in making correct diagnoses. Her mission is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to begin a career in neurodiagnostic technology and flourish.

Laura Krudo, R. EEG T.
Instructor

Laura Krudo is an Instructor with extensive experience working with adult and pediatric neurological patients, but her passion lies in working with infants and children. As the Sr. Neurodiagnostic Technologist at an Orlando children’s hospital, Laura has exclusively specialized in pediatric neurology for the past six years. Laura strongly believes in the dignity of the patient and places a high priority on communication with both the medical team and the family.

Abigail "Abbey" Carlson, R. EEG T., R. EP T.
Instructor

Originating in Minnesota, Abbey began working with both adult and pediatric patients in hospitals in the Twin Cities where she performed many neurodiagnostic recordings including long term monitoring for patients with epilepsy, evoked potentials, and intraoperative spinal cord monitoring. A recent transplant to the greater Orlando area, Abbey continues to pursue her passion in neurodiagnostic technology at Orlando’s only Level One Trauma Center in the area that specializes in pediatric emergency care.
